AnyTix - Promoting Module

Gamification Marketing: Select Puzzles Together!

#UIUX #module
Duration: 3 Months
My Role: Product Designer
Responsibility: End to end UX/UI design
Company: GASH (Gamania group)
Anytix is a marketing promotion module in beanfun! I designed the module from 0 to 1. At first, PM planned to create two pages for two different game firms. However, the origin method will cost more time and budget than using a module. Moreover, we can only use one time for a single activity. After communicating with the operating and marketing team, I rearranged the structure and provide the ideaof designing a module for different kinds of game firms and other cross-industry cooperations.

Workflow
Design Strategy
To expand the tool flexibility, I turned AnyTix into a module to fit various game firms. With this gamification module, different firms’ products and brands can play with their target audiences.
UI Flow
After finishing the UI design, PM and I created the UI flow to check all the possible processes which will reach the main page.
Outcome
The first event of AnyTix created 14,289 unique users in 25 days. The profit performance of the platform increased by 40% from the same activity last year. Also, the AnyTix module helped our corporation partner increase 9% the number of signed-in members.
Takeaway
After the activities, we found our members exchanged their puzzles via beanfun! App enthusiastically. Users even bought the puzzles by cash out of the App. And this found made the other grant product born, which is another exciting story…
The team made quick and huge efforts on this project, and we also learned something from it. The following list is how we can improve the product:

1. The module’s main page cannot connect to the exchanging function in the native App because of the lack of the API.
→ Add the exchanging function in the main page

2. The style wasn’t similar to the native App beanfun! and made users can’t connect between the pages. I advised consisting of the styles in the web view to avoid users from feeling the module is a different service from the original App.
→ Style consistency

3. The project schedule was too tight and it led to spending too much time filling the pages which weren’t listed in the beginning. Therefore, I tried to do more effort into the following project at first. With the wireframe or sketches (at least the main pages), I discussed ideas with the team and then built the UI design.
→ Design the wireframe or sketches in the begining (at least the main pages).

Make things happen together!
